The Birch Ridge Golf Association was awarded the “2012 Don Springer Award” which recognizes the national Hook-a-Kid-on-Golf site of the year. It’s an incredible honor for those of us who have spent so much time and energy making our Hook-a-Kid program the best possible experience for our area youth. We promise to do everything we can to elevate the program to even greater heights in future years!

This is a program designed for 8-15 year old youth who have never played golf and do not own a set of clubs. There are no costs to the participants. Sponsorship is provided by the Birch Ridge Golf Association and the National Alliance for Youth Sports.

The Clinic is open to 24 young people. Selection will be based on a blind drawing. Those selected will be notified by phone immediately following the drawing. If those selected find they cannot attend for any reason, other names will be drawn so we can have a full class of 24 golfers. Participants selected will receive instruction from Birch Ridge Golf Professionals Zac Cowan and Bill Enberg plus assistants. Participants selected will receive golf balls, tees, a cap, a golf shirt, a golf bag and four clubs.
